Alex Williams's Top Performances
Honors & Awards 2020-21 Season (Freshman) - Williams appeared in three meets for Asheville as a freshman in 2020-21...He made his debut at the Winthrop Opener where he placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05...Williams was also in action at the Winthrop Spring Invitational on March 13...Individually, he took part in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash and placed fifth in both events...Additionally, Williams was also a member of the Asheville 4x100m relay team that paced the field with a time of 41.16 that established a new program outdoor school record...For his part, Williams along with Akin Williams, Jalen Anderson, and Isaac Teasley were named the Big South's Track Athletes of the Week on March 17...Williams closed out his first collegiate season at the Montreat Invitational...He competed in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay with his best finish coming in the relay again placing second with a time of 41.34.Â
