2021-22 Season (Senior) - In his fourth season with the Bulldogs, Choiniere stepped up his performances across all of his events...He set new personal-bests in the shot put, discus, weight throw, and hammer throw during the 2021-22 season...Choiniere also shined in the classroom garnering Big South All-Academic Team honors for both the indoor and outdoor campaigns...Furthermore, Choiniere was named the Big South's Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the indoor season...Won both the shot put (16.85m) and weight throw (16.45m) at January's Keydet Invitational...Acheived the same feat at the Marshall Invitational in mid-February...His lone event win during the outdoor season came at the Catamount Classic as he paced the field in the discus (50.47m)...Choiniere closed out his season by earning All-Big South Second Team honors at the 2022 Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the shot put with a toss of 17.26-meters.Â
2020-21 Season (Junior) - Choiniere took part in six meets during his third season in Asheville...Began his junior campaign well finishing second in the discus (39.94m) and third in the hammer throw (36.64m) at the season-opening Winthrop Opener meet...Came second in the shot put (15.27m) at the Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina in mid-April, which was tied for his highest finish of the season...Finished off his junior season by competing in the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships...Placed fourth in the shot put (16.51m) and 11th in the discus (42.96m) at the Championships...Following both the indoor and outdoor seasons, Choiniere was recognized for his work in the classroom as he was the Bulldogs' All-Big South Academic Team member. Â
2019-20 Season (Sophomore) - Like the rest of the track & field student-athletes, Choiniere's season was limited to just six meets because of the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic...Posted five top-five finishes as a sophomore, including a sixth-place nod in the shot put (14.94m) at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships.
2018-19 Season (Freshman) - Competed in 10 meets during his first season as a Bulldog in 2018-19...Made his debut at the Appalachian Open Indoor Track meet in late November/early December where he placed sixth in the shot put with a toss of 13.50-meters...Competed exclusively in the shot put throughout the indoor season...Closed out the indoor campaign by placing seventh in the event at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships with a toss of 14.25-meters...As the outdoor season began, Choiniere began competing in the discus as well as the shot put...Tallied his first collegiate podium finish at the Terrier Relays in late March by placing third in the discus with a throw of 44.65-meters...Finished up his first season in Asheville by competing in the shot put and discus at the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships...There he placed seventh in the shot put (14.15m) and ninth in the discus (43.01m).
