Overview:
One of the top outfielders in the Big South Conference this year and should compete for all-conference honors...excellent left-handed hitter with legitimate power...scrappy player who always plays hard...career leader at UNC Asheville in triples with 19.
2007: Tied Big South and UNC Asheville single season triples mark with eight for second year in a row...15 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games hit home runs in back-to-back games to end regular season against NC State and UNC Greensboro...had a 17-game hit streak (26-76 .342) from April 4-27...five outfield assists this season...15 outfield assists in his career...led off the game with a home run three times.
2006: Led the Bulldogs in homers with eight and stolen bases with 13...missed the first eight games of the season...went 4-for-5 with two home runs and six RBI against North Carolina A&T on March 1...set school record and tied the Big South record for triples in a season with eight...tied school record for triples in a game with two against VMI on April 29...began the season in left field and moved to center field on March 30...season high 17-game hit streak through the end of the regular season and the Big South Tournament...has seven outfield assists.
2005: Started 44 of 49 games in left field as a freshman...batted .283 with 14 multiple hit games...went 6-for-11 with three runs scored in the VMI series...hit two home runs and led the team in stolen bases (14) and triples (3)...hit home runs at Western Carolina and against Brown...had four RBI vs. East Tennessee State and had four multi-RBI games for the season.
Before UNC Asheville: Graduated from East Forsyth HS where he started in center field for three years...hit .400 senior season, earning all-conference honors...played American Legion Ball for Post 36 and hit 11 home runs.
