Transfer from Elon University...has good bat speed and the potential to drive in runs...played in high school at South Mecklenburg with current teammate Elliott Arrington.
2007: Played at first base and as DH against left-handed pitching...went 10-for-25 (.400) during seven game hit streak from March 18-27...went 19-67 (.284) vs. non-conference opponents...went 3-for-3 against South Carolina on March 20, and 2-for-2 against Appalachian State on April 4...had five multi-hit games and drove in two runs against Furman on April 27...started 20 of 40 games played
2006: Started first 21 games and started 45 games between first base, right field, and DH...went 4-for-5 with five RBI in 14-2 victory over Duke (May 16)...also went 4-for-5 with three runs and two RBI vs. LeMoyne (Mar. 4)...posted a 3-for-5 night at East Tennessee State (Apr. 11)...belted four home runs...had a double and a homer at Western Carolina (Feb. 28), also homered at Georgia Southern (Mar. 5), vs. Winthrop (Apr. 15), and Campbell (May 6).
2005: Started the first six games of the season before receiving a medical red-shirt...had four hits in 20 at bats and drove in three runs...went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI at Samford in the first game of a doubleheader and went 1-for-3 with a RBI in the second game...also had a hit at Alabama.
Before UNC Asheville: Played in 11 games at Elon in 2004 and had one hit in 11 at bats...senior year hit .360 with 13 doubles, 20 RBI and 20 stolen bases...named to all-conference team as a senior and earned a spot on second team All-Mecklenburg squad...also selected to play in East-West state games...led South Mecklenburg to 48-21 overall record during his career.
