Overview: Great leader on the mound...closed for the Bulldogs last season but will likely move back into starting rotation...competes on every batter and can be used in any situation.

2007: Became UNC Asheville’s all-time saves leader with seven last season, giving him 13 for his career...made two early-season starts and one late-season mid-week start...made 24 relief apperances...had span of five straight outings where he did not allow a run from March 14-28...recorded four wins in relief against Liberty, ETSU, Winthrop, and Radford.

2006: Took over the closer role and recorded six saves...had four consecutive outings from April 22-May 6, where he retired 22 consecutive batters...had nine outings where he retired every batter he faced...made three starts, two early in the season and then made an emergency start against Liberty on May 13, throwing a complete game to help Asheville secure Big South Tournament berth...had a win and a save in the same day in Big South Tournament defeating High Point in the 11 a.m. game and picking up the save against Liberty to move the Bulldogs into the title game.

2005: Made 11 starts as a freshman including six of the eight conference weekends...had the Bulldogs’ first complete game victory of the season against Dayton giving up three runs on nine hits...also had victories against Samford and Radford ...struck out a season-high 10 batters in eight innings against High Point in a 2-1 loss in which he gave up two runs on five hits...tied for the team lead with 60 strikeouts and only walked 31 batters in 81 innings.

Before UNC Asheville: Four-year starter at East Mecklenburg...senior year went 6-4 with 2.06 ERA, striking out 68 hitters in 72 innings...junior year went 7-3 with 1.94 ERA...had 56 strikeouts in 67 innings...was named all-conference as a junior and senior...team captain senior season.
