Overview: Red-shirt senior who can pitch with either hand...pitched with left hand last season...local product from nearby Hendersonville HS...began his college career at Maine where he pitched in 2007....showed some real promise in 2010 and could be key player for the Bulldogs out of the bullpen this year.

2010: Made 18 appearances with four starts...went 2-4 with 6.28 ERA...first start was great one at Furman (3-31) as he went six innings, allowing just one hit with three walks and a strikeout as he earned the win in 3-0 victory...got the win in relief and recorded crucial strikeout with bases-loaded and two outs in victory over Charleston Southern (5-16)...pitched three scoreless innings at Campbell (2-20) with three stirkeouts and just one hit...struck out 26 hitters in 38.2 innings of work.

2009: Pitched in 12 games and 7.2 innings of work...pitched two scoreless innings with two strikeouts against national power Florida State (4-21)...tossed a scoreless inning at Clemson (3-4)...also had scoreless outings vs. George Mason (2-21), Western Carolina (3-18) and Coastal Carolina (3-16).

Before UNC Asheville: Pitched in four games at Maine in 2007 and worked five innings with eight strikeouts...earned All-State, All-Conference, and All-Area awards as a senior at Hendersonville for head coach Mark Cook...played for the East Cobb Astros AAU team which won the 16U National Championship... made it to the quarterfinals of the 2005 18 UWWBA wooden bat national championship.
