Overview: Talented left-handed pitcher that had a bad-luck season as a sophomore in 2011...went through some nagging injuries...had a fabulous freshman year and Bulldogs look forward to him returning to his rookie form in 2012.

2011: Pitched in 16 games and went 0-3...had 19 strikeouts in 29 innings of work...earned four starts...pitched a scoreless inning of work at national champion South Carolina (5-17)...had two scoreless innings of work vs. Wofford (4-20)...tossed two scoreless innings at Gardner-Webb (3-19).

2010: Second on the team in starts with 10 as he made 17 appearances...second on team in wins as he went 3-4 plus earned a save...struck out 36 hitters in 64 innings of work...earned first collegiate victory against Liberty (3-26) as he went eight innings and allowed just five hits, three runs and struck out five...earned second win in 10-3 triumph at Presbyterian College (4-10) as he went seven innings, allowing just one run and scattering eight hits...picked up final win of the season with scoreless ninth inning as Bulldogs rallied for 4-3 victory over Charleston Southern (5-15)...had great start at Tennessee (5-18) with four scoreless and hitlesss innings against the Volunteers...earned his only save of the season by pitching the final five innings in 7-3 victory over Gardner-Webb (5-22).

Before UNC Asheville: Enjoyed a standout prep career at East Lincoln HS in Denver, N.C....went 9-0 as a senior with 0.71 ERA...named to All-Conference and All-State team...his ERA set a single-season school record...was team MVP as a junior and senior....went 4-2 junior season with 2.50 ERA....also lettered in basketball at East Lincoln.
