Overview: UNC Asheville's starting second baseman and shortstop during his career...hard worker who was Asheville's starter at shortstop last year...solid hitter who should compete for all-conference honors in 2011.
2010: One of only two players to start and play in all 52 games for Asheville...top game was 3-for-5 performance against Furman (4-28) with four RBI and double...opened the season with six-game hitting streak as he went 11-of-27 with four doubles and six RBI...scored 25 runs with seven doubles...had three hits in five different games...posted two doubles and drove in run at College of Charleston (2-27).
2009: Finished the season as Asheville's second leading hitter with a .298 average...opened the season strong with hits in 12 of 13 games...enjoyed 16 multi-hit games...had four hits in two different games...went 4-for-5 with double at East Carolina (3-11) and 4-of-5 effort and two RBI in road win at Liberty (4-11)...had great series against Central Michigan at home (2-27 & 28)as he went 6-of-15 from the plate with three RBI and double...scored four runs in the series...also went 7-of-14 in three-game series at Charleston Southern (3-6 & 7) with five runs scored...had three hits and a triple vs. Radford (4-3)...third on the team in runs scored with 28...led team in sacrifice bunts with seven.
2008: Started 56 times for the Bulldogs...had 49 hits and scored 20 runs...produced four hits in two different games as he went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a double in win over Marist (3-16)...also went 4-for-5 with two RBI in victory over Charleston Southern (5-11)...had three hits and scored two runs against Hartford (3-20)...went 3-for-4 with two runs scored at Radford (4-26)...drove in three runs on two hits in road win at UNC Greensboro (4-30)...had 13 multi-hit games.Before UNC Asheville: Hit .320 with seven doubles, three triples, and a home run as a senior...also went 9-3 with a 2.03 ERA on the mound. As a junior helped lead Ragsdale HS to 3A state runner-up finish by hitting .330...2006 All-State, All-Area, and All-Conference selection...2007 Easter Tournament MVP and Mid-Piedmont Tournament MVP...played in the 2007 East-West Senior Games.
