Overview: Has become the Bulldogs’ top starting pitcher and will once again be the ace of the rotation...ground ball pitcher that mixes in slider and change-up with above-average fastball.

2007: Led the Bulldogs in strikeouts with 69 and was second on the team in victories and innings pitched...opponents batted .277 against him last season...allowed just one run in 7.2 innings in first win of the season at Campbell...also allowed one run in eight innings with eight strikeouts in victory at UAB...defeated Coastal Carolina, Radford, and Charleston Southern in conference...went at least six innings in 11 of 15 starts on the season...had seven strikeouts against Minnesota and VMI...made five relief appearances without a decision.

2006: Had a tremendous sophomore season on the mound for the Bulldogs...Big South All-Tournament Team pitcher...threw complete game, three-hit shutout against Birmingham-Southern in Big South Tournament opener...completed championship game against Liberty, throwing four innings and giving up just one run...threw 13 innings in tournament, allowing one run on six hits, walked one and struck out 16, posting a 2-0 record...in last five starts before the regional went 4-1 with 1.83 ERA and 11 strikeouts, while allowing just two walks...struck out six Mississippi State Bulldogs in six innings of NCAA Regional (June 3)...had one hit in six at bats at the plate.

2005: Split time on the mound and at third base...threw 51.2 innings and made 10 starts mostly in mid-week games...got his first win against North Carolina A&T when he threw seven innings allowing just one unearned run on five hits...had a season-high eight strikeouts in seven innings against Akron...started 29 games at third base where he batted .300 on the season with 21 hits in 70 at bats...went 3-for-4 with a home run against Birmingham-Southern and collected doubles against Furman and Coastal Carolina...went 2-for 3 with a triple at VMI as one of five multiple hit games.

Before UNC Asheville: Four-year letterman at Green Hope HS, earning all-conference honors as junior and senior...senior year went 5-3 with 2.19 ERA and 92 strikeouts...hit .312 with one home run...junior season went 7-1 with 2.01 ERA and had no-hitter...batted .412 in league play with three home runs...also lettered in basketball at Green Hope and was named to all-conference team junior and senior year...played in the East-West High School All-Star game.
