Overview:
Pitched in every situation from starter to closer at UNC Asheville..stepped into the number two starter role and had his finest season, recording a team high seven wins and 104.1 innings.
2007: Led the Bulldogs in innings pitched and victories...tossed the only complete game shutout of the season blanking Charleston Southern 3-0 in first game of the Big South Conference Tournament on May 22...went at least six innings in 11 of 15 starts...had six relief appearances all of which were one inning and allowed a total of three hits...recorded conference victories over Charleston Southern, Radford, and VMI.
2006: Mid-week starter most of the season, recorded win at Tennessee (April 12) and threw a complete game against North Carolina A&T (March 12)...started and got the win against Liberty in the Big South Tournament allowing one run on three hits in 6.2 innings...made start at Radford (April 2) and went five innings giving up just one run but ended with a no decision...14 appearances out of the bullpen...picked up one win in relief against Hartford on Mar. 18, throwing 2.1 innings without giving up a run.
2005: Made two starts and had 20 relief appearances...picked up the win at Florida in relief throwing three innings allowing one run on two hits...got a win in relief against Radford...led the team with three saves against VMI, Gardner-Webb, and Tennessee...threw six innings and struck out a season-high six batters in a start against Appalachian State ...pitched 6.1 innings and give up four runs and six hits in a start at Georgia.
Before UNC Asheville: Graduated from West Mecklenburg HS in 2003...senior year had a 2.10 ERA...threw complete game one-hitter against conference champion senior season...played for coach Jim Carpino...earned all-conference honors as a senior...also lettered in swimming at West Mecklenburg.
