2021-22 Season (Junior) - As a junior, Thurman competed in 12 meets for Asheville...Began her junior campaign by helping the 4x300m relay team place second with a time of 2:49.62 at Appalachian State in early December...Her top outing individually came at the ETSU Track & Field Invitational where she finished fifth with a time of 1:01.67 in mid-January...Her and her teammates finished third in the 4x400m relay at the Marshall Invitational (4:09.30)...Won the same event at the Montreat Invitational in late March with a time of 4:05.76...Ran in the 200-meter and 400-meter runs at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships where she placed 20th (26.93) and 18th (1:01.67), respectively...Ran in the same events for Asheville at the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships and finished 24th (27.05) and 16th (1:00.0).
2020-21 Season (Sophomore) - Thurman appeared in six meets again as a sophomore in 2020-21...As an individual, Thurman competed in the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter dashes...Key member in the 4x400-meter relay team that placed sixth or higher in three meets...Finished up her sophomore season by being in the field in the 400-meter dash where she placed 15th with a time of 1:02.25.
2019-20 Season (Freshman) - As a freshman, Thurman competed in six meet for the Bulldogs...Made her UNC Asheville debut at the Appalachian Open Indoor Meet in early December where she took part in the 300-meter dash and was a member of the 4x300-meter relay team...Was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed second at the Buccaneer Track & Field Invitational with a time of 3:55.64...Closed her first season in Asheville at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships...Helped the 4x400-meter relay team garner All-Big South honors by placing third with a time of 3:50.80...Also placed in the top-10 in the 400-meter run with a time of 57.76.
