TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - UNC Asheville committed four errors which led to five unearned Alabama runs as the Crimson Tide completed a three-game sweep from the Bulldogs 10-4 in the nightcap Saturday at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
Alabama (5-2) scored two runs in each of the first four innings and added a run in the fifth to build a 9-4 lead midway through the ball game.
UNC Asheville (0-3) scored three runs in the top of the third inning highlighted by a two-RBI single by Ben Kerr that scored Chad Gregson and Tony Campana. Tony Wall went 2-for-4 for the Bulldogs who had four runs on seven hits.
