2020 Season (Senior): In the abbreviated 2020 season, Gasparro started all 16 games for the Bulldogs...The Pennington, New Jersey native led the team in multiple offensive categories including: batting average (.344), runs scored (12), hits (21), home runs (3), runs batted in (16) and stolen bases (5)...Had a season-high three hits on three occasions with the last being on March 7 against Coppin State...Drove in a season-best four runs on February 22 at UAB...Stole three bases against Coppin State on March 7. 

2019 Season (Junior): Key two-way player for the Bulldogs … Made 38 starts in the field and 12 starts on the mound … Named Big South Player of the Week on March 4 … Key member of the Bulldog offense as Gasparro led the team with a .329 batting average while spending most of his time in the lead-off spot … Led the Bulldogs with a .434 on base percentage … Totaled 48 hits, 29 runs scored and 10 doubles … Stole five bases on the season … Had a .979 fielding percentage … Had 15 multi-hit games … Had three hits in a game seven times … Collected four hits on Feb. 23 versus UMBC with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored … Threw 41.1 innings in 13 total appearances … Struck out 24 batters … Surrendered four earned runs or less in 11 of his 12 starts … In his second start of the season, Gasparro punched out four batters in two innings of work while surrendering two hits … On April 18 versus Charleston Southern, Gasparro hurled 5 innings giving up one run on four hits.

2018 (Sophomore): Was most reliable starter for UNC Asheville in 2018 ... Named Big South Starting Pitcher of the Week on April 30 ... Started 13 games and earned two victories ... Finished the year with a 4.99 ERA ... Sported a .286 batting average against and struck out 38 batters in 57.2 innings of work ... In Big South Conference games, Gasparro started nine games and collected two wins ... Toted a 4.89 ERA in 38.2 innings of work ... Season was highlighted by an 8.2 inning outing at Radford ... Versus the Highlanders, Gasparro scattered seven hits and allowed just three earned runs in the 5-4 victory ... Offensively, Gasparro became a key player for the Bulldogs ... In league games, Gasparro hit .333 in 12 starts in the field ... Collected 14 hits, including a pair of doubles ... Also collected four RBIs and touched home six times ... 2017 (Freshman): Helped guide UNC Asheville back to the Big South Conference Baseball Championship for the first time since 2012 as the Bulldogs advanced to the semifinal round for the first time since 2007 … Helped UNC Asheville lead the Big South Conference with 17 runners picked off … Helped UNC Asheville finish third in the league with 47 double plays turned … Became the first freshman and left-handed starting pitcher to start the season-opener for the Bulldogs in over 10 years when he toed the rubber in his collegiate debut against Samford (2/17) … Made 18 appearances, including 12 starts, on the mound as a true freshman … Was second on the team with 66.1 innings of work … Boasted a 3-4 record and 4.61 ERA … Struck out 53 batters, second-most on the squad … Had seven scoreless outings, including in seven innings against both Presbyterian (3/25) and Richmond (4/1) … Earned his first collegiate win in the game against Presbyterian … Struck out a season-high six batters against both Charleston southern (4/8) and Radford (5/7) … In his collegiate debut on the road at Samford, pitched 4.0 innings of scoreless ball while giving up just two hits … Gave up just four hits and one run to Liberty (5/26) in an elimination game of the Big South Conference Championship.

Before UNC Asheville: Played for coach Ken Harrison at Hopewell Valley Central and competed in the summer with the Diamond Jacks out of Flemington, N.J. … Ranked as the No. 8 pitcher in New Jersey and the No. 201 pitcher the nation by Perfect Game … Ranked as the No. 49 overall player in New Jersey by Prep Baseball Report … Went 14-4 during his career with a 0.96 ERA and 164 strikeouts in 116 innings of work … Also batted .416 in his career … Was named the CVC Player of the Year and earned All-State first-team honors.
