2022 Season (Junior) - In his third season in a Bulldog uniform, Preslar played in 34 games and made 30 starts...Serving as Asheville's primary leftfielder for most of the season, Preslar hit .172 with three home runs, 16 RBI, with 16 runs scored...Preslar, who also worked 16 walks, launched home runs against Charleston Southern, North Carolina A&T, and Elon in 2022...Had a trio of multi-hit games, including two back-to-back against Charleston Southern in late March.
2021 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Preslar played in 43 games and started 37 of those contests...Serving as Asheville's main left fielder, Preslar hit .263 with three home runs and 15 RBI...He also scored 16 runs, logged 30 hits, and drew 12 walks...Slugged his first collegiate home run on March 20 vs. Campbell...Also hit home runs vs. Radford (March 26) and at Winthrop (April 10)...Posted five multi-hit performances in 2021...Went a season-best 3-for-4 at UNC Wilmington on April 18...Also drove in multiple runs on five occasions.
2020 Season (Freshman) - Preslar appeared in 11 games during his freshman season in 2020...The Polkton, N.C. native hit .250 with two runs scored and two runs driven in on the season...Collected his first collegiate hit in his collegiate debut on February 15 at Samford...Best game of the season came on February 22 where he went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks, and two runs scored at UAB.Â
Before UNC Asheville -Â A native of Polkton, N.C., Preslar played his high school baseball for Anson High School in Wadesboro, N.C. He was also a letterwinner in high school in basketball and football. Preslar finished his high school career with a .370 batting average to go along with 50 stolen bases and two home runs. He had 15 stolen bases during his senior season. Preslar was a multiple time all-conference selection in high school. He already has his Associate in Arts degree out of high school after graduating from South Piedmont Community College in May of 2019.
