2020 Season (Senior): Brown turned in arguably his best season to date in the abbreviated 2020 season...The Dallas, N.C. native went 1-0 with an 1.89 ERA in four starts and 19 innings pitched...He struck out 26 batters in those 19 innings...Also held opponents to an .141 batting average against...In final two starts of the season, Brown logged 11.2 innings and did not allow a run against Coppin State and Belmont...Struck out 17 batters in those two starts.Â
2019 Season (Junior): Appeared in 19 games and made six starts on the mound … Punched out 61 batters in 50 innings … Picked up three wins and one save in the 2019 season … Had a 3.39 ERA in 23.9 innings out of the bullpen … Threw more than one inning in 16 of his 19 appearances … Collected at least five strikeouts in six separate appearances … Held Big South Conference opponents to a .233 batting average against … Season was highlighted by a game versus Winthrop in which Brown threw 3.1 innings out of the bullpen surrendering only two hits and striking out seven on his way to claiming his first save of the season.

Struck out 28 Big South players and only allowed 12 earned runs ... Overall, Brown ended the year with 18 appearances ... He posted a 4.58 ERA and 37.1 total innings ... Held batters to a .252 batting average ... To end the year, Brown started in four games ... Highlighting the four-game stretch was twirling a career-long seven frames at Charleston Southern ...
