Overview: One of four seniors on this year's club...has been used out of the bullpen during his career with improvement each season...hard worker who will be counted on for leadership in 2010 both on and off the field.
2009: Made 12 appearances and earned a win in relief vs. Presbyterian (5-14)...had success against Big South champion Coastal Carolina (3-16) with two scoreless innings of work and one strikeout...also had two innings of scoreless work against George Mason (2-21) as he struck out one...struck out 11 in 19 innings of work...had three-game stretch late in the year against Western Carolina (4-1), College of Charleston (4-2) where he pitched two scoreless innings of work.
2008: Pitched in 14 games and had a 5.40 ERA...struck out seven hitters in 18.1 innings of work...had 2.1 scoreless innings of work at The Citadel (3-9) and pitched two innings of scoreless relief vs. Brown (3-23)...came in and pitched a scoreless inning of relief in one-run wins over Wofford (4-15) and Gardner-Webb (4-22).
2007: Made 12 appearances with no wins or losses and a staff low 4.40 ERA...recorded first career save throwing one inning in 4-1 victory over Gardner-Webb on April 17...longest outings were 2.0 innings against New Orleans, Charleston Southern, and Elon...struck out a season-high four batters at Elon on April 25...only allowed 11 hits in 14.1 innings with 12 strikeouts...opponents batted .212 against him, which was the lowest opponent batting average on the staff
Before UNC Asheville: Went 5-1 as a senior at Miami Killian HS and posted a 1.72 ERA with four saves...as a junior, recorded a 7-2 record with a 2.28 ERA...named Miami-Dade Honorable Mention.
