Golf Heads to Alabama for Bama Beach Bash

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team heads to Gulf Shores, Alabama, to compete in the Bama Beach Bash, hosted by University of Alabama Birmingham.
The three-day event is scheduled for 18 holes each day, beginning Sunday with the first round at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Asheville finished fourth in the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate. Beryl Giletti and Caroline Patterson finished tied for ninth to lead Asheville. As a team, the Bulldogs finished with 27 birdies between the three rounds, and led the field with 150 pars. Patterson led Asheville with eight birdies, and Ally Kerr led the field with 35 pars. The Bulldogs finished ahead of Big South Conference foe Presbyterian (7th).
