Bulldogs Close Tot Hill Farm Invitational with Best Round of Tournament

ASHEBORO, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team wrapped up play at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational on Tuesday, closing the tournament with its best round of the event at Tot Hill Farm Golf Club.
The Bulldogs carded a 310 (+22) in Tuesday's final round, improving by seven strokes from Monday's second-round score. Asheville finished the tournament in 11th place with a three-round total of 942 (+78) after rounds of 315, 317 and 310.
Breanna Hoese posted Asheville's best overall finish, tying for 42nd with a three-day score of 231 (+15). Hoese opened the tournament with a 77 before carding a 75 in the second round and a 79 on Tuesday.
Jordyn Arts led Asheville in the final round, firing a 3-over 75. Arts improved in each round of the tournament, going from a 79 to a 78 before closing with her tournament-best 75. She finished tied for 47th overall at 16-over 232.
Praelyn Jirasaraikul and Carly Sherman each turned in rounds of 78 (+6) on the final day. Jirasairakul finished 56th at 237 (+21) following rounds of 79, 80 and 78, while Sherman placed tied for 63rd at 242 (+26) with rounds of 80, 84 and 78.
