Bulldogs in a Tie for Second After Round One of Bama Beach Bash

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The UNC Asheville women's golf team completed the first 18 holes at the Bama Beach Bash on Sunday, and sit tied for second after the first day of play.
The Bulldogs are tied for second with tournament hosts UAB, as both teams shot a 311 (+23) through 18 holes.
Morgan Guepet leads Asheville with a 74 (+2) and is tied for fourth. Caroline Patterson follows with a 75 and is tied for eighth. Beryl Giletti is close behind, tied in 11th with a 76.
Ally Kerr shot an 86 and Kate Bennett shot a 90. Competing as individuals, Jordyn Arts shot an 81 and Savannah Thessing shot an 83.
