"Kayla played solid golf this week and as a team we showed moments of great golf, but we continued to do things that are just momentum killers," said head coach Ross Cash. "We have played so well over the last month, it is hard to put my finger on what really was the cause of this result. While thinking about it in the van on the way home, I am not gonna ascribe it too much weight because I think that will make it bigger than it is. We are a great team pure and simple and we intend to put our best foot forward at winning the Big South Conference which lies ahead and not behind, so our focus will be ahead."
The Bulldogs return to action on Apr. 12 to begin play the Big South Conference Championships. Live results for the tournament will be available at www.uncabulldogs.com.Â
