"There is a fine line in golf where you can maybe be too ready or too excited to play, and maybe we crossed that line today," said head coach Ross Cash. "The team was so excited to get after it, as we have been targeting this event all year. We have plenty of firepower to overcome this deficit over the next two rounds. They need to unwaveringly believe in themselves and each other and let the results happen instead of trying to force it. We will be okay."

The Bulldogs return to action tomorrow (Thursday, Apr. 13) for the second day of tournament play. First tee will be at 8:45 a.m., with live results available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
