Bulldogs Begin Spring Season at Rivertowne Invitational

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville Women's Golf team opens the spring portion of their season Monday and Tuesday (Feb 17-18) at the Rivertowne Invitational, hosted by Charleston Southern University.
A Look at the Fall Season: The Bulldogs' best finish of the fall season came back in September at Murray State's Velvet Classic, where the Bulldogs finished second out of 16 teams. Caroline Patterson had an outstanding fall semester, being named Big South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week twice and also shooting a career-best 67 to set a new program record with a five-under-par round in the final round of the Mercer Invitational back in October.

About the Tournament Field: The tournament consists of 14 teams. UNC Asheville will be competing against Charleston Southern University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Elon University, North Carolina A&T University, Long Island University, Winthrop University, University of South Carolina Upstate, University of Richmond, The Citadel, University of Cincinnati, Marshall University, Radford University, and High Point University.
