Patterson Posts Runner-Up Finish, Bulldogs Finish Sixth at Rivertowne Invitational

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – Junior Caroline Patterson led the UNC Asheville women's golf team with rounds of 75-71-70 to finish tied for second as the Bulldogs finished sixth at the Rivertowne Invitational on Tuesday.
After suspending play with six holes left in the second round on Monday, the Bulldogs finalized the second round Tuesday morning before completing the third and final round.
Round Two
The Bulldogs shot 296 in the second round, improving their score from the first round by 11 strokes (307).
Caroline Patterson led the Bulldogs with a 71 (-1) and recorded three birdies across the front nine. Ally Kerr also recorded three birdies on the front nine and was one-under par on the front nine. Kerr finished the second round with a 76 (+4).
Beryl Giletti had Asheville's second-lowest finish following the second 18 holes, finishing one-over par (73). Morgan Guepet shot a 76, and Jordyn Arts shot an 86.
Third Round
Asheville shot a 302 in the third round to finish 41 over par as a team, one stroke ahead of Charleston Southern and two ahead of Radford.
Patterson led the team with four birdies, two on the front nine and two on the back nine. She finished 2-under for her lowest round of the tournament (70).
