Patterson Wins Individual Title, Bulldogs Finish Second at Velvet Classic

PADUCAH, Ky. – Caroline Patterson led the field with 12 birdies and won the individual championship of the second annual Velvet Classic at the Country Club of Paducah. Patterson's win helped UNC Asheville to a second-place finish in the team standings.
"This is a good event for the team," Head Coach Ross Cash said. "We will get bonus points for finishing in the top three when the rankings come out in October. It was a very difficult golf course and is great preparation as we move forward."
