About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs are coming off a second-place finish at the Low Country Intercollegiate last weekend, that included the program's first-ever tournament title won by junior Madyson Gold. Gold leads the team with a 74.95 scoring average, while Phoebe Carles averages 77.25 and Kayla Benge also averages 77.45. Gold also sits ninth in the conference in scoring average. Venecia Zaia averages a mark of 77.75 on the season, while Ally Kerr also posts a 79.00 scoring average on the season.
About the Tournament Field - The tournament field features some Big South Conference opponents in Winthrop and Gardner-Webb, along with some regional competition in Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, James Madison and UNC Greensboro. The rest of the tournament field is made up of Marshall, Illinois-Chicago, Evansville, Morehead State, Florida Gulf Coast, Akron, North Dakota State, St. Thomas, Northern Colorado, Ohio and Western Illinois. From Head Coach Ross Cash - "The Golfweek Any Given Tuesday tournament has another really strong field on a great golf course on Pawley's Island at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club," said head coach Ross Cash. "My team is super excited about building on the success from Hilton Head. I believe in them and they are starting to believe in themselves. We leave Saturday morning but I'm ready to get in the van now. Let's Go Bulldogs!"
