"We responded today for sure," said head coach Ross Cash. "I'm pretty sure we had the lowest team score of the day under pretty difficult conditions. Mady was one shot away from the lowest individual score today as well. I am not a scoreboard watcher at all, I never turn Golfstat on while we are playing but I'm pretty sure that Phoebe was winning individually before a little hiccup on one of our red-light holes. The golf course is difficult and hard to navigate but today is a glimpse of who we are and honestly, we are a lot better than this as well. When we get everyone playing their best on the same day, we will be dangerous."

The Bulldogs return to action on Feb. 26 as they travel to Mount Pleasant, S.C. for the Rivertowne Intercollegiate hosted by Charleston Southern.
