About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs come into the weekend off of their first top-five finish of the spring season after a fourth-place finish at the Lady Bison Classic back on Feb. 5-7. Madyson Gold leads the way with a 75.07 scoring average on the season, while Ally Kerr (76.67), Venecia Zaia (76.73)  and Phoebe Carles (77.53) are close behind. Kayla Benge also averages 78.13 per round. In total, the Bulldogs have posted five consecutive top-five finishes as a team heading into this weekend. In addition, the Bulldogs have climbed to a program record No. 168 in the latest Golfstat Division I women's team rankings.

About the Tournament Field - The Bulldogs will face a tough tournament field this weekend, featuring some familiar competition out of the Big South Conference in Winthrop, High Point, Longwood and USC Upstate. The rest of the field is a collection of Power Five and mid-major teams in Boston College, Tulane, Lipscomb, Seton Hall, Richmond, Western Carolina, Elon, North Alabama, Farleigh Dickinson, Coastal Carolina and The Citadel. Tulane currently ranks as No. 58 in the Golfstat team rankings.

From Head Coach Ross Cash - "We face a really strong field filled with teams that are ranked better than we are right now. This presents us a great opportunity to show exactly who we are as a golf program. We are getting better, capturing a clearer vision of how good we can become, and understanding more and more every day about how to play the game most efficiently. We are excited to go get after it."
