Big South Tournament seeding on the line

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team aims to secure a top-4 seed in the upcoming Big South Tournament on Wednesday, hosting Gardner-Webb at 2:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs are most recently coming off a strong 6-1 victory at Hampton on Saturday, snapping a three-match losing streak.

Where they Stand
UNC Asheville is 9-6 overall and 3-3 against Big South foes, while Gardner-Webb sits at 11-10 and is 4-3 in conference competition. The top six teams will make the Big South Conference Championship, with the first two seeds earning a bye. With Gardner-Webb currently sitting as the No. 4 seed and Asheville the No. 5, Wednesday's match will determine who will host the quarterfinal round of the Big South Tournament (Presbyterian is No. 3).
