Baseball returns to Greenwood Field to host High Point on Tuesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville baseball team will return to Greenwood Field Tuesday to take on High Point in a midweek matchup. The first pitch between the Bulldogs and Panthers is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
Probable Pitching Matchup
RHP Evan Wilde (HPU) vs. LHP Cole Schiff (AVL) – @ 2 p.m. – ESPN+
Fan Information – Due to the 2022 UNC Asheville baseball season being presented by Ingles, admission to Tuesday's game and all of Asheville's home games this season will be free admission. The concession stand will be open on Tuesday, so outside food or drinks will not be allowed.
Last Time Out – The Bulldogs were swept over the weekend on the road at Mercer. The Bears won the three games by scores of 9-5, 6-0, and 10-0. With the three losses, Asheville's record so far in 2022 stands at 3-9.
Freeberger in midseason form – A bright spot for Asheville last week was the play of Dominic Freeberger. Freeberger, who saw playing time at multiple positions in the four games Asheville played a week ago, led the team hitting .353 with three RBI and one run scored.
