ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Women's Tennis will head north to Virginia for the next two days, with matchups against Hampton on Sunday, and Radford on Monday.
The Bulldogs are riding a two-match winning streak, collecting a 4-3 victory against Western Carolina last Thursday, and a 4-1 win against UT Martin last Sunday.
Junior Ami Grace Dougah went a combined 4-0 in last week's stretch, earning her the Big South Co-Player of the Week, which was her third on the year, and the Bulldog's fifth.
Asheville's first matchup with Hampton is just the third matchup all-time, with the Bulldogs shutting out the Pirates 4-0 and 7-0 in the 2019 season.
Hampton is just 1-9 on the year, with their first win of the season coming last Sunday against North Carolina A&T.
Radford on the other hand is 9-8 on the year and 3-2 in Big South play, with victories over NC A&T, Hampton, and Longwood.
The Bulldogs have dropped the last four matches against the Highlanders, with three out of the four matches coming down to the last singles match.
Sunday's match will start at 1:00 p.m. at Hampton, followed by a 2:00 p.m. start at Radford on Monday.
