Women’s Golf readies for the Terrier Intercollegiate

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's golf team will be back in action this week when it competes in the Terrier Intercollegiate at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Monday and Tuesday.
Last Time Out – Asheville finished fourth out of 10 teams at last week's Buccaneer Classic. Individually, the Bulldogs were led by the tandem of Venecia Zaia and Phoebe Carles who shot identical scores of 234 (+18) for the 54-hole tournament.
Playing for the Bulldogs – The Bulldogs will have five golfers take the course in Spartanburg this week. In addition to Zaia and Carles, Madyson Gold, Kayla Benge, and Hailey Pendleton will also represent Asheville.
About the Field – There will be a total of 17 teams competing in Spartanburg this week. UNC Asheville will be joined by Wofford, South Dakota, Boston, USC Upstate, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Longwood, Samford, Gardner-Webb, IUPUI, Appalachian State, Tennessee Tech, North Alabama, Winthrop, Presbyterian, The Citadel, and USC Beaufort.
