Baseball Travels to No. 4 North Carolina for Lone Mid-Week Contest

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – For the lone mid-week game for the Bulldogs, the UNC Asheville baseball team travels to No. 4 North Carolina for a head-to-head showdown in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Tuesday, May 1, at 6 p.m.

Tuesday: Sr. RHP Nick Boyles (0-3, 11.63 ERA) vs. Jr. RHP Taylor Sugg (2-0, 5.13 ERA)
About the Bulldogs
UNC Asheville enters the mid-week showdown with a 12-31 overall record and a 2-3 mark in the last five games. The Bulldogs are fresh off their second Big South Conference series victory, where they won the final two games of the series versus Gardner-Webb.
In the four games last week for UNC Asheville, the Bulldogs tallied two wins, which included the first Big South Conference series victory at Greenwood Field this season. Leading the offensive surge for Asheville was Big South Player of the Week Danny Wilson. Out of the bullpen, Jordan Fulbright and Kole Harris led the Bulldogs. Fulbright twirled five frames and didn't allow an earned run. He struck out four and scattered three hits.
