2017 (Redshirt Junior): Helped guide UNC Asheville back to the Big South Conference Baseball Championship for the first time since 2012 as the Bulldogs advanced to the semifinal round for the first time since 2007 … Continued to provide the Bulldogs with both offense and strong pitching as he appeared in 26 games, making 15 starts split between the mound and as the designated hitter … As the DH, batted .213 on the year with 10 hits, including a pair of homers … Scored seven runs and batted in three in 47 at-bats … Had the game-winning RBI single in the Bulldogs’ 2-1 win over Charleston Southern (4/9) as he singled to score Chris Troost from second in the bottom of the ninth with two outs … Went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a double in the first game of a league doubleheader at Presbyterian (3/25) … Scored two runs in the second game of the doubleheader at Presbyterian (3/25) … Notched homers at UNCG (3/28) and at Richmond (4/2) … Had a four-game hitting streak from March 25 to March 29 … On the mound, made five appearances, including four starts … Pitched five innings twice, including at home against Iona (3/4) and at home against Winthrop (3/18), earning the win in both contests … Ended the season with a 0.56 ERA in 16 innings of work … Struck out 13 batters … Fanned a season-high six batters in the first game of a doubleheader against UMBC (3/11) … Had three outings of scoreless ball, including the five innings of one-hit ball against Winthrop.

2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in 31 games with 20 starts as a position player … Had 14 appearances, all starts, as a pitcher … Tallied two doubles in a game twice (vs. Canisius 2/27 & vs. Furman 3/10) … Finished with eight RBIs at the plate … Tallied a 3-7 record with a 4.75 ERA as a starting pitcher … Struck out 55 batters in 85.1 innings pitched … Struck out a career-best eight batters at Wofford (2/22) … Threw 7.0 or more innings in five of his 14 starts.
2014 (Freshman): Became a weekend starter and pitched very well for the Bulldogs … Led the team in ERA with a 3.92 mark … Went 0-3 in Big South Conference games but boasted a 3.50 ERA … Earned a win in second career start at Charlotte (3/5) where he limited the 49ers to six hits and just one run in a 5-1 win … Picked up the win in relief at Tennessee (5/6) with two innings of work … left the game with the lead at Big South regular-season champ Liberty (4/26) after pitching seven innings and allowing just one run against a nationally-ranked club … Allowed just one run in eight innings vs. Radford (5/10).
Before UNC Asheville: Attended Oakland Mills HS in Columbia, Md. … Helped lead his team to 17-6 record senior season … Was a standout both on the mound and at the plate … Finished with a .437 batting average, including 11 doubles, three triples and three home runs … Went 6-2 on the mound with a 1.03 ERA and 71 strikeouts … Was named Howard County Player of the Year and earned first-team All-Met honors … Led team to the Franklin Tournament title … Also played basketball.
