GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNC Asheville Baseball was listed as one of more than 500 college programs to earn the American Baseball Coaches Association 2025-26 Team Academic Excellence Award presented by Sports Attack, announced by the organization today (Wednesday, July 22).

To earn the award, a baseball program has to earn at least a 3.0 team grade point average for the year.

The baseball program this season posted a team GPA of 3.29, earning the honor for the fourth straight season.

Additionally in the classroom, the Bulldogs posted four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in Patrick Gillen, Cooper Smith, Owen Michelson and Lucas Boesen.
