Overview: Has been a consistent leader on and off the track for the Bulldog cross country program during his career...has been named to a Big South All-Academic team seven different times...competed in the 800, mile, 1500 and 3000 meters in his career...had a time of 4:24 in the 1500 meters at Duke (4-7) last year...posted a time of 2:08 in the 800 at Clemson (4-14).
Before UNC Asheville: Graduated from Mount Tabor HS in Winston-Salem...helped lead school to 2002 state championship in cross country...named to all-conference team in both cross country and track as a junior and senior...earned Edward Jones Leadership Award...named NCHSAA scholar-athlete for track and field.
