Overview:
Hard-working athlete that is one of the most versatile track and field athletes in the Big South...has competed in cross country for the Bulldogs and also has taken part in the Indoor Pentathlon and Outdoor Heptathlon for the past three years. Threw 9.55 meters (31ft, 4in) in the pentathalon shot put at the 2008 Big South Indoor Track and Field Championship, which propelled her to score 2,636 points in the indoor pentathalon.
Before UNC Asheville: Attended Floyd County HS in Virginia...helped lead Floyd to 2003 Group A State championship in cross country...received all-state honors in cross country for three straight years...also lettered in basketball.
