Bio
Overview: One of the top distance runners to ever run at UNC Asheville...earned all-conference honors in the fall of 2006 in cross country with ninth-place finish...excellent student who has been named to Big South All-Academic four different times...came in second last fall at Big South Preview Meet at Jackson Park in Hendersonville...top time in the 5000 meters was 18:02 in the Duke Invitational (4-7)...ran the mile in 5:21 at ASU Indoor Meet (2-8).
Before UNC Asheville: Enjoyed a standout prep career at Westlake HS in Austin, Texas...excellent student who earned academic all-state and all-district honors in cross country and track and field...picked up a silver medal in regional cross country meet in 2003...led Westlake to regional championship in 2000 and runner-up finish in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
