2008: Led Bulldogs in homers (12) and second in RBI (42)...hit a solid .284 in the middle of Asheville’s line-up...had an eight-game hitting streak in the middle of the season...had four hits in two different games...went 4-for-5 with homer and four RBI against Liberty (4-5)...had four hits in road win at Radford (4-27)...began Bulldog career in great style with three hits, two RBI, a double and homer at Presbyterian (2-23)...had three hits, two RBI and homer next day against Blue Hose (2-24)...hit .298 in Big South Conference games...second on team in walks with 31...hit three-run homer in league win at Radford (4-26)...drove in three runs with double and homer in home win over VMI (4-11)...enjoyed 15 multi-hit games.
Before UNC Asheville: Hit .317 with nine home runs and 41 RBI as a sophomore at Johnson County Community College while leading the Cavaliers to a 33-20 record...had 51 hits in 161 at bats with seven doubles and two triples...was a first team All-Conference catcher at Louisburg High School where he also lettered in football and wrestling...has an older brother, Zach and a younger sister, Jessie.
