2021 Season (5th Year Senior) - Lankford provided an emphatic stamp on his time in Asheville in 2021...The senior third baseman closed his career as a Bulldog by leading the Big South with 17 homers...His 17 home runs, which were all hit vs. Big South pitching, are tied for the fifth-most by any player in the nation this season...In addition to the home runs, the senior third baseman led the Bulldogs in batting average (.341), OPS (1.098), runs (36), RBI (43), total bases (117), slugging percentage (.665), walks (25), on-base percentage (.433), and stolen bases (5)...Historically, Lankford's 17 home runs in 2021 are the second-most ever hit by a Bulldog in a single season trailing only the 19 hit by Brian Shehan in 1989... Lankford did break the program record for career homers in early April that Shehan held for nearly three decades...The Mocksville, N.C. native finished his career in Asheville with 52 home runs, which ranks second all-time in Big South history...For his play all season long, Lankford was named to the All-Big South First Team and to the ABCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team. 

2020 Season (Senior) - In his fourth season with UNC Asheville, Lankford hit .283 with two home runs and nine RBI in 14 games...He also scored seven runs, drew nine walks and swiped a pair of bases...Hit home runs against Samford and Belmont...Six of his 13 hits went for extra bases...Ranked second for the Bulldogs among qualified hitters with his .283 batting average. 

2019 Season (Junior) - Started all 52 games at third base … Named Big South First-Team All-Conference … Led the Bulldogs with a career high 15 home runs and is now second in UNC Asheville history with 33 career home runs … 15 home runs was second in the Big South Conference and was among the top 40 in the country at the end of the regular season … Lankford also led the Bulldogs with 109 total bases, 44 runs scored and a .580 slugging percentage … Lankford hit .287 with 54 hits and 35 RBIs in the 2019 season … Totaled 14 multi-hit games, nine multi-RBI games and two multi-home run games … Had an eight-game hit streak … Lankford’s season was highlighted by a three-hit performance versus Georgia Southern on March 9 in which the junior also had six RBIs and touched home three times … Had 27 hits and 24 runs scored in Big South Conference matchups … 21 of his 34 walks on the season came against Big South Conference opponents.

2018 Season (Sophomore) - Finished the year with the second-highest batting average on the year (.266) in 49 starts at third base ... Belted a team-best eight home runs ... Also had the second-most doubles on the team with 12 ... Finished the season with a team-high 26 RBIs and also touched home 27 times ... Had a team-best .469 slugging percentage ... Walked 22 times in 177 at-bats ... Posted 14 games with at least two hits, including four games with three or more hits ... Collected two doubles in a game twice - versus Presbyterian and USC Upstate ... Homered in back-to-back games twice in 2018 ... In league games, Lankford hit .226 with 25 hits, including four doubles ... Totaled eight RBIs and a .415 slugging percentage in Big South contests.

2017 Season (Freshman) - Named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball News, the first for the Bulldogs since the 2004 season and fifth overall … Earned Big South Conference Championship All-Tournament honors, the first Bulldog to earn the honor since 2006 … Named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week on February 27 … Named the Big South Player of the Week by College Sports Madness on February 27 … Helped guide UNC Asheville back to the Big South Conference Baseball Championship for the first time since 2012 as the Bulldogs advanced to the semifinal round for the first time since 2007 … Helped UNC Asheville finish third in the league with 47 double plays turned … Helped the Bulldogs lead the conference with 33 runners caught stealing … Started a team-high 56 games on the year and was second on the team with a .268 batting average … Was tied for tops on the team with 55 hits and led the team with 25 extra-base knocks … Finished the season tied for fourth in the Big South Conference in both doubles (15) and home runs (10) … Was tied for sixth in the conference with 46 runs batted in … Scored 37 runs on the year, second-most on the team, and tallied 100 total bases … Slugged a team-best .488 … Had 14 multi-hit games … Batted in multiple runs in 11 games, including three consecutive from May 14 to May 18 … Had a stretch of seven straight games with an extra-base hit from February 18 to March 3 … Started his collegiate career off by recording a hit in 12 straight games … Had a nine-game hitting streak from April 21 to May 10 … Ended the season on a five-game hitting streak … Had a season-high three hits in three games, including the first game of the three-game series against UMBC (3/10), against Winthrop (3/18) and at No. 3 North Carolina (5/10) … Had three RBIs in three games, including the game against UMBC (3/10), at Charlotte (3/14) and in the first game of the series at Gardner-Webb (5/18) … Had two games with multiple extra-base hits, including a double and a homer against Charlotte and the same in the game against Gardner-Webb … Scored three runs twice, including at Wofford (2/26) and in the final game of the series at Gardner-Webb (5/20) … Had a season-high six assists in the series finale against Iona (3/5) and had no errors in that game … Made his collegiate debut in the Bulldogs’ season-opener at Samford (2/17).
