Overview: Senior second baseman who did a great job for the Bulldogs in 2011 and earned second team Big South All-Conference for his play...hard worker who has steadily improved with each season to become one of the top infielders in the Big South Conference.
2011: Only player to play in all 52 games and earned 51 starts...second on team in hitting with .339 average...led club in total bases (91), at bats (229), runs scored (34) and hits (75)...opened the season with nine-game hitting streak and kept hitting the rest of the year...had 18 multi-hit games, including four games with four hits...went 4-for-5 in extra-inning victory over Coastal Carolina (3-27)...had three hits, scored four runs and two RBI at North Carolina A&T (3-29)...had four hits vs. High Point (4-17), Radford (4-23) and at Liberty (5-5)...opened the season with 3-for-4 performance, three runs scored and two RBI vs. Murray State (2-18)...ended the year with 3-for-6 effort with four runs scored vs. Presbyterian College (5-21)...went 3-for-3 in road win at Western Carolina (3-16).
2010: Played in 26 games with nine starts...did a nice job off the bench in pinch-hitting and pinch-running roles...finished the season with .333 average and had two doubles plus nine RBI...was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases
2009: Played in 39 games and started 32 times...hit .264 in with 12 RBI and 16 runs scored...ended the year with a four-game hitting streak...went 3-for-5 with three runs scored at ETSU (3-24)...had eight-game hitting streak midway through season...posted at least two hits in eight different games...had two hits with one run scored at Tennessee (3-25)...scored three runs and had two hits vs. Radford (4-4)...went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and a double during home win vs. Presbyterian (5-14)...had two hits and run scored at Winthrop (5-1).
Before UNC Asheville: Earned first team All-Ohio honors as a senior when he hit .500 with three triples, 23 runs scored and stole 20 bases...was named team MVP and made all-conference...also lettered in basketball and soccer.
