2021 Season (Senior) - During his final season with Asheville, Barbour appeared in nine games that included five starting assignments...Finished his senior season hitting .188 with three hits (one double) and one run scored in 16 at-bats...Started one game in left field for Asheville with the rest of his appearances either coming as a designated hitter or a pinch-hitter...Collected a season-high two hits on March 27 vs. Radford...Also picked up a hit on April 30 at Campbell.
2020 Season (Junior) - In his first season in a Bulldog uniform, Barbour played in 13 of the team's 16 games...He made his Bulldog debut on February 14 against Samford...Overall, the Benson, N.C. native hit .243 with seven runs scored and two RBI...Collected a season-high two hits in a game at UAB on February 20...Stole one base, drew five walks and picked up one triple as well.
Before UNC Asheville:Â Barbour joins the UNC Asheville baseball program out of Brunswick Community College where he started at third base for two years for the Dolphins. He owned a .354 batting average during his two years at Brunswick Community College. He also helped lead the Dolphins to the NJCAA Region X Division II Championship in 2019. The Benson, N.C. native played his high school baseball at South Johnston High School in Four Oaks, N.C. He was a three-year starter at shortstop at South Johnston where he finished his career hitting .340.
