2021 Season (Freshman) - During his freshman season, Cross appeared in 13 games for Asheville and made one start on the mound...Over the course of the 2021 season, Cross racked up 19.2 innings, struck out 11, and held opposing hitters to a .278 batting average...Made his collegiate debut at Western Carolina on February 23 where he tossed a pair of scoreless innings...Got his first collegiate starting assignment on March 2 vs. Wofford...Pitched more than one inning in eight of his 13 appearances...Finished the season with a 5.03 ERA...Picked up multiple strikeouts in four appearances...Pitched a season-high 2.1 innings at Charleston Southern on March 13 and then again vs. Radford on March 26. 

Prior to UNC Asheville - As a prep pitcher, Cross went 8-3 with a 1.20 ERA in 95 innings pitched...Racked up 93 strikeouts as well...A two-time Perfect Game Preseason All-American selection.
