2022 Season (Junior) - Douglas was used almost exclusively as a starter in 2022 for the Bulldogs...Douglas started 13 games for Asheville and posted a 2-6 record with a 5.31 ERA in 59.1 innings pitched...Nearly averaged a strikeout per inning pitched as a junior racking up 55 strikeouts in those 59.1 innings...Pitched a season-high six innings in a victory over North Carolina A&T in late April...Struck out a season-high eight batters in a start twice in 2022...Picked up wins over North Carolina A&T and Winthrop...Following his outing vs. Winthrop, Douglas was named the Big South's Starting Pitcher of the Week on May 23.Â

2020 Season (Freshman) -Â Douglas began his collegiate career on a high note in the abbreviated 2020 campaign...The Climax, N.C. native started four games and posted a 1-2 record with a 2.74 ERA in 23 innings pitched...Made his collegiate debut at Samford on February 16...Did not allow more than two earned runs in any start as a freshman...Recorded first career win against Coppin State on March 8 where he struck out a season-high seven batters.
Before UNC Asheville - A product of Southeast Guilford High School, Douglas played football and baseball at the high school in Greensboro, N.C. During his time at Southeast Guilford, Douglas was an all-state, all-area and all-conference selection. He was the Greensboro News & Record All-Area Player of the Year as a senior. He was also quarterback for the state runner-ups in football.
