2019 (Freshman): Appeared in 23 games … Made one start … 23 appearances was third on the team … Hurled 28.1 innings … Struck out 26 batters … Made 13 scoreless appearances … Sondock’s last four appearances of the season were all multi-inning appearances … Threw back to back two inning appearances on 3/30 and 4/3 and struck out five while allowing no hits and no runs in those four innings out of the bullpen.
Prior to UNC Asheville: Joins the UNC Asheville squad from Emery High School in Houston, Texas ... A 6-1 left-handed pitcher, which is one of two left-handed pitchers in the incoming class ... During his high school career, he was a member of the 2017 TAPPS D2 State Championship team, 2017 TAPPS All-State Tournament Team and 2017-18 TAPPS Second Team All-State, and individually, he was tabbed 2017 All-Houston (Private School) Utility Player of the Year.
