ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis hosts Appalachian State in non-conference action on Sunday (Feb. 16). First serve is set for 3:00 p.m. from the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.

About the Bulldogs - Asheville enters the matchup at 5-1 overall after a 6-1 win over UNC Greensboro back on Saturday (Feb. 8). Asheville holds a combined 13-3 doubles record along with a 29-5 combined singles record. Angelina Joy Hug and Ari Siegel hold a 5-1 record in doubles play, while Avery Sager and Louise Booker are 4-1 in doubles play. Alexis Nyborg and Elizabeth Tindera have two wins in doubles play, while the tandems of Nyborg/Valeria Centeno and Tindera/Centeno each have one win. Julia Caffarena and Hug each have five wins in singles play, while Booker has four wins in singles play. Centeno, Keira Stewart and Tindera each have three wins in singles play, while Nyborg, Sager and Luise van Rensburg each have two wins in singles play.  
 
About the Mountaineers - App State enters the matchup at 4-2 after a 5-2 win over Queens (N.C.) on Friday (Feb. 14). App holds a combined 12-5 doubles record, along with a 19-14 combined singles record. Naledi Manyube/Ruby Broadbent lead the way in doubles play with three wins, while two other doubles pairs have two wins each and five other duos each have one win. Savannah Dada-Mascoll is 5-0 in singles play, while Manyube and Isabella Romanichen each have four wins. Alexi Cleveland has three wins in singles play, while three others each have one win.   
 
Series History - This will be the 14th all-time meeting between Asheville and App State, with App State leading the all-time series 8-5. App State won the last meeting between the two programs 6-1 back on Feb. 16, 2018.
