Women's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Contest to Appalachian State on Sunday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis dropped its non-conference contest to Appalachian State on Sunday (Feb. 16) by a score of 5-2.
App State won two of three doubles matches for the doubles point, before winning four out of six singles matches to take the victory.
Asheville's two victories came in singles play, with Elizabeth Tindera beating Olwyn Ryan-Bovey 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 at No. 3 and Julia Caffarena defeating Ruby Broadbent 7=5, 7-5 at No. 5.
