LEXINGTON, S.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis saw its season end with a 4-1 loss to Charleston Southern in the Big South Conference semifinals on Friday (Apr. 17).

Charleston Southern captured the doubles point with two wins in doubles play, before the teams began to grind out singles play.

Charleston Southern took a 2-0 lead with a win at No. 2 singles, before Maria Sol Alvarez Brandon got the Bulldogs on the board with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Camilla Molina Barranco at No. 5. Charleston Southern picked up wins at No. 3 and No. 5 to secure the win.
