Bulldogs Earn Silver at UNCG Collegiate

GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's golf completed its final round of the UNCG Collegiate on Tuesday (Oct. 21), and the Bulldogs finished in second place out of the 11-team field.
Tuesday's final round was Asheville's highest round of the tournament as the Bulldogs were +13, while UNCG moved into first place following a +6 performance. Overall, Asheville finished with a three-round score of 890 (+26).

BULLDOG FINISHES
Caroline Patterson and Breanna Hoese represented Asheville in the top 10 of the competition field, as Patterson led Asheville with a T5 finish and Hoese surged into seventh following her round three performance. Patterson shot 73-71-76 (+4) and Hoese shot 74-75-72 (+5) to lead Asheville.
Pennie Osterberg was Asheville's next finisher, finishing T13 with rounds of 73-75-76 (+8).
Jordyn Arts finished T29 with rounds of 75-76-80 and Lauren Madson finished T41 with rounds of 84-73-77. As an individual, Carly Sherman finished in 56th with rounds of 83-79-83.
Arts led Asheville with nine birdies.

Asheville will close out the 2025 fall season with the Bulldogs' home tournament Oct. 20-21. The French Broad Collegiate Invitational will be held at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.
