Women’s Golf Finishes in a Tie for Third at Bama Beach Bash

GULF SHORES, Ala. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team completed the Bama Beach Bash on Tuesday, and the Bulldogs finished tied in third among the 17-team field.

HOW THE BULLDOGS FINISHED
Beryl Giletti led the Bulldogs with an individual fourth-place finish, shooting rounds of 73 and 71. Giletti was 1-under on the day after recording four birdies.
In her second tournament as a Bulldog, Claudia Salvador finished tied in eighth with rounds of 76 and 71. Salvador was 1-under on the day with four birdies.
Madyson Gold and Phoebe Carles finished tied in 27th. Gold shot two rounds of 76, and Carles shot rounds of 73 and 79. Gold had three birdies on the day.
Hailey Pendleton rounded out the Bulldogs, finishing tied in 50th with rounds of 78 and 79.

Asheville continues its beach tour as the Bulldogs head to Panama City, Fla., to compete in the Lady Bison Classic March 22-24, hosted by Lipscomb.
