Bulldogs Finish Sixth in Lady Bison Bay Point Classic

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team finished the final round of the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic on Sunday in sixth place. Asheville improved four spots from 10th place after Friday's opening round.

HOW THE BULLDOGS FINISHED
Claudia Salvador led Asheville with a 12th-place finish. Salvador shot rounds of 78, 73, and 75 for a tournament score of 226 (10-over). On the day, Salvador was three over, with five birdies.
Madyson Gold improved nine spots to finish tied for 14th. Gold shot rounds of 79, 75, and 75 for a tournament score of 229 (13-over). On the day, Gold was three over with two birdies.
Beryl Giletti finished tied for 22nd with rounds of 80, 74, and 76. She finished with a tournament score of 230 (14-over) and was 4-over on the day with three birdies.
Hailey Pendleton improved eight spots to finish tied in 30th. Pendleton shot rounds of 80, 78, and 75 for a tournament score of 233 (17-over). Pendleton had three birdies on Sunday.
Phoebe Carles finished the tournament tied in 47th with rounds of 82, 82 and 77. Carles had a tournament score of 241.
